Questions and answers
What is Quote King?
Quote King is Australian construction quoting software. It turns authorised call transcripts, uploaded recordings or spoken site scope into editable quote lines matched to your own rate card, which you review before sending.
Who is Quote King for?
It is for Australian tradies, builders, and the suppliers and subtrades who respond to builders' price requests. It suits anyone who prices work from a site visit or conversation and wants itemised quotes.
How does Quote King work?
You capture the scope, Quote King drafts quote lines and matches them to your rate card, then you review quantities, prices, GST and markup. When you are happy, you send the quote as a PDF.
How much does Quote King cost?
Free is $0, Tradie is $49 per month, Builder is $149 per month, and Enterprise is custom, with contact for pricing. All prices are in Australian dollars. Check the terms for billing and GST treatment.
Does Quote King send quotes automatically?
No. AI drafts must be reviewed by you, and sending a quote is always a deliberate action you take.
Can Quote King answer or intercept my phone calls?
No. It does not automatically intercept calls. You supply a transcript or recording of a conversation you are authorised to use.
Do I need permission to record a call?
Yes. Recording requires permission from the people involved, and rules vary across Australia. Only use recordings you are entitled to use.
Where do the prices come from?
From your own rate card. Quote King does not use live supplier prices, so keep your rates up to date.
Is the AI always right?
No. AI drafts can contain errors, which is why you review every quantity, price, GST setting and markup before sending.
How do suppliers and subtrades use Quote King?
They respond to prices requested by a builder. It is not an inventory or ERP system.
How do I contact Quote King?
